REVIEW TO DETERMINE WHETHER A PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT
PLAN FOR 441 HECKMAN STREET IS CONSISTENT WITH THE
TOWN’S MASTER PLAN AND ZONING ORDINANCES
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT, in accordance with New Jersey’s “Local Redevelopment and Housing Law,” N.J.S. 40A:12A-1, et. seq., on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., the Town of Phillipsburg Land Use Board will hold a special meeting on the referral from the Phillipsburg Town Council wherein the Town Council has requested the Land Use Board undertake a review to determine whether a proposed redevelopment plan for 441 Heckman Street, Tax Block 1105, Lot 2, also known as the Phillipsburg Armory, is consistent with the Town’s Master Plan and the Town’s zoning ordinances.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT any person or party who wishes to comment, or otherwise be heard, on the preliminary investigation may do so at the special meeting or may submit written comments to the Town of Phillipsburg Land Use Board prior to the special meeting date noted above. Submissions should be sent to the office of the Town of Phillipsburg Planning Board Clerk, attention Kelly Lefler, Clerk of the Land Use Board, at the Phillipsburg Municipal Building, 120 Filmore Street, Phillipsburg, New Jersey, 08865.
