IMPORTANT – Road Work Announcement – 9/17/2025

Warren County with its, contractor Tilcon NY, Inc., will perform milling and paving on South Main Street in between Sawmill Street to the Municipal Boundary with Pohatcong just east of Lock Street.

Duration will be Thursday 9/18, Friday 9/19, Monday 9/22 & Tuesday 9/23 with hours 7 AM to 5 PM.

Work is weather dependent.

Milling of one lane will occur Thursday, 9/18 and then other lane on Friday, 9/19.  Temporary line striping will be applied upon completion of milling operations.

Paving of lane will occur on Monday, 9/22 and then other lane on Tuesday, 9/23. Temporary line striping will be applied with permanent line striping and markings to follow.

Traffic will be accommodated with a one lane alternating pattern handled by traffic control flaggers and uniformed police directors so as to avoid road closure.
