REVIEW TO DETERMINE WHETHER A PROPOSED ORDINANCE PROHIBITING

DATA CENTERS IN THE TOWN IS CONSISTENT WITH THE

TOWN’S MASTER PLAN AND ZONING ORDINANCES

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT, in accordance with New Jersey’s “Municipal Land Use Law,” N.J.S. 40A:55D-1, et. seq., on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 7:00 PM, the Town of Phillipsburg Land Use Board will hold a public hearing on the referral from the Phillipsburg Town Council of Town Council Ordinance 2026-08,  wherein the Town Council has requested the Land Use Board undertake a review to determine whether a proposed ordinance which prohibits data centers in the Town of Phillipsburg is consistent with the Town’s Master Plan and the Town’s zoning ordinances.

 

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT any person or party who wishes to comment, or otherwise be heard, may do so at the public hearing or may submit written comments to the Town of Phillipsburg Land Use Board prior to the public hearing date noted above. Submissions should be sent to the office of the Town of Phillipsburg Land Use Board, attention Kelly Lefler, Secretary of the Land Use Board, at the Phillipsburg Municipal Building, 120 Filmore Street, Phillipsburg, New Jersey, 08865.

 

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT a copy of the Phillipsburg Town Council’s Ordinance No. 2026-08 is available for review by contacting the Secretary of the Land Use Board.
