Road Work & Construction Updates – Wednesday, November 4, 2026

IMPORTANT: NO PAVING WILL TAKE PLACE ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3!

However, utility work, concrete work, and road striping will still take place on Tuesday, November 3, in the following areas:

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 – SCHEDULED ROADWORK

Pursel Street (between Kurland Alley and Columbus Avenue): Stormwater pipe/structure replacement and/or concrete work. Road closures may occur as needed, with traffic control provided.

Various Streets (starting at Stockton Street): Road line striping.

Pursel Street: Concrete ADA ramp work.

Rose Street Area: Water service line installation.

John Mitchell Avenue and Filmore Street: Gas service line installation.

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION

Please be aware that No Parking signs may be posted in advance or remain in place after scheduled paving work. Restrictions will be in effect on scheduled paving days from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

If your street is NOT listed on the updated paving schedule for that particular day, you MAY park on your street, even if paving-related No Parking signs remain posted. Please continue to observe any separate restrictions associated with utility work, road closures, or other construction activities.

TRAFFIC & SAFETY REMINDERS

Please use caution when traveling through active work zones, follow posted traffic signs, and allow extra travel time. Temporary road closures, traffic restrictions, and delays may occur.
